Schwaz silver mine
How to find us
Directions
From the motorway exit "Schwaz" to the roundabout - leave the roundabout in the direction of Wörgl - at the 2nd roundabout go straight on again in the direction of Wörgl - after approx. 1 km on the B 171 turn right into "Bergwerksstrasse". (Marked by a sign at the side of the road) After another 600 m turn left into car park 2 or after another 100 m turn right into the entrance to car park 1. Only a 50 m long, asphalted footpath separates you from your destination: the Schwaz silver mine.
If you are travelling to Schwaz by train, you can take the city bus (line 1) every 30 minutes or the ÖBB bus every 60 minutes (from 08:20) directly to the silver mine. From the city centre, you can choose between line 1 and line 2 and even reach the Silberbergwerk every 15 minutes.
